There is an exciting new chapter to our story for 2015!
During our time operating as the Formative Assessment System for Teachers (FAST), we have learned so much about what teachers need and want. We know that teachers have loved FAST assessments and data, but they also told us they need research-based tools and interventions to accompany the assessments we provide. We listened and are excited to announce that we are expanding our products and services.
As of February 2015, we are no longer just an assessment group. We’ve broadened our portfolio, our mission, and even our name. The Formative Assessment System for Teachers (FAST) is now:
Our logo was chosen to symbolize the bridge from research to results, as well as a feeling of aspiration and forward movement that embodies FastBridge.
Simply put, we needed a name that described us as more than an assessment group because we are more than an assessment group.
Our world-class research team at the University of Minnesota and the FastBridge development team are doing serious work to make it easier than ever for teachers to use not just assessments, but a portfolio of high quality, efficient, research-based tools to deliver instruction, intervention, obtain professional development, and more.
Our mission is to provide a system that makes it easier and faster to translate research–to practice–to results.
FastBridge is the bridge from research to results.
As such, we have updated our company name and logo to better reflect our aspirations.
